Ginger – Loves dogs
Tiger/Torbie Mix: An adoptable cat in Kansas City, MO
Small • Young • Female

Ginger DOB 12/2010 Ginger is a beautiful little dilute torbie with lots of “torbitude”. We believe she is Nadia & Oliver’s sister. She likes to be held and get her ears rubbed. Ginger is a tiny little girl and will always look like an older kitten. Ginger started her life as a semi-feral cat, but is now very loving. She can be a little skittish, but once she knows she can trust you she will follow you around like your shadow. She loves to play and LOVES dogs. Ginger is fully vetted. She is spayed, is FIV and Leukemia negative. She has been de-wormed, de-flead and is house broken. If you are interested in meeting Ginger please contact us at Karmasrescue@hotmail.com or call Katie at 816-509-6006 or Becky 816-217-0322.

Time for a montage! A LILLY montage!
Photos courtesy of T.A.I.L.S..

Lilly is a tiny little lass from Texas who was saved from a high kill shelter by a good samaritan at the last moment. Now she needs a forever home, so her foster parent can save more of her canine brothers and sisters. Step up maybe? You’ll get plenty of love, affection, and devotion in return!

Adorable little Corgi Shepherd Mix Dog needs a home

This is my newest foster, Lilly. I rescued her from a high kill shelter in Fort Worth, TX the day they were going to euthanize her for being “Too fearful/shy”. She is the sweetest little thing who just wants lots of love & attention. The vet estimates she is between 4-7 years old & she has been spayed, micro-chipped & is up to date on all of her shots. She has short stalky legs like a corgi but a shep face. I would also say she is around 15lbs. as far as her personality goes she is so sweet & affectionate & just all around willing to please. She loves to play fetch with her ball & go for walks & when she’s ready to chill, she prefers the cushions on the back of the couch.

The only bad thing I have encountered with her is that she is possessive of her food & toys with my other dog which I am sure is probably a product of her being in a shelter for over 2 months. That’s why I listed her as preferably going to a home with no dogs/children or to someone who was willing to work with her on that.

She also loves to run & is super fast (I seriously witnessed her on the tail of a rabbit & you know how fast those things are!). The volunteer told me that she would keep running if given the chance so she would need to be on a leash outside or in a fenced in area. She is also potty-trained as long as you don’t leave her in too long. I think that’s about it.

She needs a permanent home where she will be spoiled like she deserves! Message me if you are interested in meeting her. 🙂 re-homing fee: $50.00

This dog is a Courtesy Listing and is not actually fostered through T.A.I.L.S This dog is located in kansas city, mo If you would like to meet this dog please email me at Trying_to_save_them@yahoo.com

Animal Kingdom Rescue in Trenton, Missouri recently took in 45 Leghorn chickens. Chickens make wonderful friends!

Medium • Baby • Male

These 45 little Leghorn chicks were rescued from euthanasia after a college class. Half of them were hatched on 4-13-12 and the other half hatched on 4-20-12. There is a mix of hens and roosters. It will most likely be required for each adopter that wishes to adopt hens to adopt at least one rooster. There is a 5.00 adoption fee per chick. All potential adopters will be asked to fill out an adoption application and supply pictures of where the chicks will be housed. E-mail to request a application and include a short summary of your purpose in adopting chickens and a description of the housing you have. Note: The picture was taken on 4-22-12, so the chicks have grown since the picture was taken.
